  • Why choose paper flowers over real flowers?
    The short answer would be because they won't die, wilt, or turn colors and you can keep them long after your special day.
  • Where can I set up the rental?
    Our backdrop rentals will make a great addition to any event. Some ideas for locations of our rentals- behind a cake table, head table, sweetheart table, ceremony backdrop, photo booth, or really anywhere you choose. Most of our backdrops are for indoor use only due to the delicate nature of the paper flowers.
  • Can my backdrop be moved once it has been installed?
    Unfortunately, the answer is no. The backdrop must remain where Lakeside Petals LLC installed it for the duration of the enitire event. Moving the backdrop can cause damage which would result in a loss of the damage deposit.
  • How long will I get the backdrop for?
    We do a maximum of 12 hours, but can be flexible depending on the time frame of when you want to use it.
  • How far in advance do I need to place my rental order?
    As soon as possible! Depending on what other orders we have and how customized your item is would require different processing times.
  • What is the process to book a rental?
    1. Please fill out the contact page and be as detailed as you can. We will respond within 48 hours to discuss your event. 2. Read and sign our rental agreement 3. Pay the 50% non refundable retainer to secure your item and date. This amount goes towards your total price. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to your event.
  • What payment methods do we accept?
    PayPal, Venmo, cash and checks.
  • Is there a damage deposit?
    Yes. A damage deposit is collected for all rentals and will be refunded as long as the rental item is returned in the same condition that it was received. Upon paying for the rental, a rental agreement and payment schedule will be signed and will include a damage deposit. Our rental items are handmade and we trust that our renters and their guests will be respectful and careful as to not incur any damage.
  • Can you create custom designs?
    Yes! Contact us with your custom idea and we'll let you know if we can make it happen. Please note that all custom orders require 100% payment before we begin creating your design.
  • Are there delivery, set up or breakdown fees?"
    Delivery, set up and breakdown is included on all orders over $200 and within a 20 mile radius of area code 34736. All deliveries outside of the 20 mile radius or under $200 will be charged .75 cents per mile each way for both delivery and pick up. For example: 25 miles x .75 = $18.75, then $18.75 x 4 = $75 total.
  • Where are you located?
    We are in Groveland, Florida 34736. Groveland is near Clermont and is just outside of Orlando.
  • What colors do you offer for your paper flowers?
    Please note that due to different computer/mobile screens, colors may vary slightly from what appears here.
  • How can I save money on my rental?
    Book your rental Monday through Thursday and save 20% on any backdrop rental. This does not include any delivery fees.
