Hi! I’m Renee- owner, designer, and flower artist behind Lakeside Petals.
Lakeside Petals began during a season of transition after spending many years homeschooling my daughter. I knew I loved creativity and design, but I had not yet discovered the passion that truly inspired me.
Fresh flowers never fully resonated with me because their beauty is so temporary. I’ve always been drawn to the idea of creating florals that could last, be reused, and continue bringing joy long after an event ends.
One day, I came across a paper flower tutorial on Pinterest and decided to make one simply for fun. That single flower changed everything. I instantly fell in love with the creative process and the transformation of simple materials into something so beautiful and artistic.
What began as a small creative project quickly blossomed into a passion for designing oversized paper flowers, luxury flower walls, and statement floral installations for weddings, quinceañeras, showers, corporate events, and special celebrations throughout Orlando and Central Florida.
One of the things I love most about paper flowers is that they are eco-friendly, sustainable, and reusable. Unlike traditional florals, they don’t wilt after one day. They can be enjoyed again and again while creating unforgettable statement pieces with less waste and more lasting beauty.
Today, I specialize in giant flower rentals, luxury event backdrops, and custom floral installations that transform ordinary spaces into unforgettable experiences. I also love teaching paper flower classes, decoupage workshops, and creative art experiences so others can discover the joy and confidence that comes from creating something beautiful with their own hands.
